The marriage notices found in The Democratic Sentinel, a Bloomsburg
weekly newspaper, come from the dates listed below. There are more issues of the
newspapers available for some years than others, and a few years will have some
issues missing. There are 8,726 names of grooms and brides in the database. The
Society is very much indebted to the extensive work of Steve Wiist in developing
this database.

specific person. In order to reduce the amount of time needed to search for each
name, please list the dates of the searches in chronological order according to
the newspaper. Please see the example listed below. Your cooperation will be
very helpful and appreciated. Every effort will be made to send the paper copies
