BLOOMSBURG JOURNAL AND CATAWISSA NEWS ITEM

There are 253 obituaries indexed in the Bloomsburg Journal from the dates of February 11, 1880 to September 9, 1882, August 13, 1885, and November 29, 1885. The Bloomsburg Journal started by G. A. Potter in 1876 was a weekly temperance newspaper consisting of four pages and later expanded to twelve pages in 1881. It ceased publication in 1887 in Bloomsburg and moved to Millville to become the Weekly Tablet.
