For numeric comparisons, begin with >, <, >=, or <= Use "*" as a wildcard, i.e. "F*" will get all surnames starting with the letter "F" The locations are the Society's file numbers. The "FH" designation means that we have a family history book on file. The "PL" designation indicates it is listed in the Early Central Pennsylvania Lineages. Remember, this is only an index. To find out what is in each file you must contact the Society researchers, they will be happy to send you copies.
Request for copiesRemember, to view this data on microfilm visit the Andruss Library on the campus of Bloomsburg University. Can't visit? Click on our "Research Request" tab on the left. There is a charge for looking up each obituary and marriage notice.
Due to the large number of requests and a limited number of volunteers for
this service, the Society must limit each request to no more than a combined
number total of (5) five searches for obituaries and marriage notices. Please
allow two weeks before submitting another request. Your cooperation will
be appreciated.
