JANTZEN BAKERY TRUCKS, 1913

William C. Jantzen established his bakery in West Berwick in 1905. As the business expanded, he need more space and in 19O8 erected the building seen in the background of this picture, located at 13048 Spring Garden Avenue. According to Walsh’s Directory for Berwick in 1925, the Jantzen’s Bakery was one of four bakeries in the community.
