Photograph Collection
This is a searchable INDEX to the CCH&GS collection of over 7,100 photographic images. The collection comprises numerous types of images, including tintypes, glass slides, and black-and-white as well as color prints. The images span many areas of local interest including people, buildings, landmarks, industries, transportation, special events, etc. To search for photo images showing particular people, features, time periods, etc., enter descriptive terms in the SEARCH box below. For example, to search for images of a particular school building in the town of Catawissa, one might enter “School” and “Catawissa.” To search for photographs of a person or family, enter the surname. Anyone interested in purchasing a copy of a photograph or receiving permission for reproduction rights should read the society Photograph Reproduction Policy.
