Gave me to cover my 1 CONC arm on hot afternoons as we traveled on our trip. It came in for so many 1 CONC uses to grab in an instant, that I planned writing her as our trip ended 1 CONC to tell her by letter. 1 CONT 1 CONT We came home July 19. Early in Sept. I had a dream at 2:45 in the 1 CONC morning and awoke seeing and talking with Betty. I hurried down stairs, 1 CONC took paper and pencil and scrawled this article which fairly well 1 CONC describes parts of our nice vacation. 1 CONT 1 CONT The Adventures of a Pillow Case 1 CONT 1 CONT Dear Betty, 1 CONT 1 CONT I really felt sad when one Sunday July morning you hurriedly grabbed 1 CONC me from your quiet, pleasant linen closet and gave me to one of your lady 1 CONC guests from Pennsylvania. I had enjoyed the warm suns and pleasing 1 CONC breezes of Okla. I loved to hear your children playing in the room next 1 CONC door or romping over me in your bed. 1 CONT 1 CONT You didn’t realize how much I would miss my mate as my companion. 1 CONC We really felt proud to be a pair and to add our dainty rose bud coloring 1 CONC to the decor of your queen sized bed. We wept with you when LeeRoy was 1 CONC ill. We laughed with you when you told him the jokes and gossip of your 1 CONC jogging club. We bickered with one another when we had to idly lay on 1 CONC the shelf the times you selected other colors of our kind to grace you 1 CONC bedstead. 1 CONT 1 CONT I didn’t know whether I could enjoy Penna. After being in the 1 CONC southwest so long. I had an idea I would be in a lonely, cold state. I 1 CONC didn’t realize the experiences one lightly faded and partly worn cotton 1 CONC case would go through in the space of a few short weeks. 1 CONT 1 CONT I went through Painted Desert protecting Mom Turner from wind or 1 CONC sunburn on her badly swollen legs. I was glad to do this service. I 1 CONC served as a shawl across her shoulders when the damp morning breezes were 1 CONC cool as her sweater was too warm for comfort. I was often a lap spread 1 CONC for the Kitchen (my daughter’s married name) sitting next to Mom. 1 CONT 1 CONT Kleenex was not always available. I served as a spectacle cleaner 1 CONC for our driver especially along the beautiful lakes or in the high 1 CONC mountains. 1 CONT 1 CONT As the day wore on and Mom grew weary of the desert heat I often was 1 CONC folded and used as a pad which eased her tired shoulders or aching head. 1 CONC Sometimes I was used to wipe the new blown rain from her face or arms. 1 CONC We were caught in a wind storm, actually a type of tornado, and I found 1 CONC myself used as a scarf. At beautiful Lake Tahoe Mom found herself 1 CONC enveloped in a great throng of gnats and mosquitoes. She clutched at me 1 CONC to help ward them off. 1 CONT 1 CONT Well Betty, I was sorry to leave you but I heard the music, the 1 CONC tramping of feet, the laughter of children at Disneyland. I saw the 1 CONC Indian children and the historic homes of Painted Desert. I felt the 1 CONC winds and suns for miles in our great America. I marveled at the sight 1 CONC of thousands of sheep and their baby lambs, of the grazing cattle and the 1 CONC magnificent horses of our homeland. I enjoyed the songs and the 1 CONC twittering of the beautiful birds in the lovely foliage of the 1 CONC woodlands. The acres of gorgeous wild flowers were simply unbelievable. 1 CONC I was mystified by the stupendous bends, the towering elevations, the 1 CONC belching geysers and the strong winds of the great mountain peaks. I saw 1 CONC the moose, the deer, the elk, the bears are their cubs, the squirrels, 1 CONC raccoons, jackrabbits and little rodents peeping their heads out along 1 CONC the roadsides. 1 CONT 1 CONT I was among the Redwoods and the Bad Lands. I swelled with pride at 1 CONC Rushmore to be a part of the throng looking at the four great heroes on 1 CONC the mountain side. I was awe stricken at the expansiveness of the 1 CONC Mississippi River. I enjoyed the vast prairies with their acres of 1 CONC golden wheat and green waving corn. 1 CONT 1 CONT I have fallen in love with the spacious North East. It is breath 1 CONC taking to follow the more than three hundred miles of the new Keystone 1 CONC Shortway with its beautiful scenery and highly cultivated farms. 1 CONT 1 CONT Now, my home is in the big white farmhouse at Pleasant Crest. I 1 CONC hear the laughter of children once again, the Turner grandchildren. I am 1 CONC on the shelf part of the time with a pair like me. I am anticipating 1 CONC being used by some distant guest that is likely to spend a night in my 1 CONC new home during the on coming Bloomsburg Fair. 1 CONT 1 CONT I forgive you Betty. It 1 CONC still exists in that country, there being resident representatives in 1 CONC Frankfort on the Main, in Bendorf on the Rhine, and in Winningen on the 1 CONC Moselle. A tradition has come floating down through the generations, 1 CONC which proclaims in a shadowy sort of way that the first Moelich in 1 CONC Germany was a migrator from Greece, and that the word--or one approaching 1 CONC it--in ancient Greek stands for lyric verse. It certainly appears in 1 CONC various forms in that language. It will be remembered that it was by the 1 CONC way of the shores of the deep Gulf of Malic that the Persians reached the 1 CONC Pass of Thermopol‘; and the English word melic, defined in the Imperial 1 CONC dictionary "relating to song, lyric," is from the Greek root melikos, or 1 CONC melos, a song. The word is also to be found in other languages, and is 1 CONC said to be a not unusual family name in the East, especially in Armenia-- 1 CONC an Armenian poet of distinction, Agob Melik Agobian, died in 1888 at 1 CONC Tiflis in Georgia, and was honored with a public funeral. There is a 1 CONC Mount Mellick in Ireland. A millet grass that grows on the coast of 1 CONC Lincolnshire, Britain, is called "melick," and one of England's sweetest 1 CONC singers has embalmed the word in the lines: "From the mead where the 1 CONC melick groweth." In Germany the family name is commonly written M”lich, 1 CONC the diaresis over the o indicating that a second vowel has been dropped. 1 CONC In America, during the last one hundred and fifty years, various 1 CONC spellings and pronunciations of the name have been in vogue; the 1 CONC signatures of descendants of emigrant ancestors Moelich appearing as 1 CONC M”lich, Malick, Malik, Meligh, Mehlig, Melik, Melick and Mellick. 1 CONC Distributed throughout the United States and Territories there are at 1 CONC present families, known as Moelich, Malick, Melick and Mellick. The 1 CONC latter name, in some instances, is pronounced as if the syllable division 1 CONC was made between the l and i, the first syllable being accented. The 1 CONC plan of this genealogical record is to first give an outline of the 1 CONC German ancestry and then to follow descents down five ancestral streams, 1 CONC flowing from five different German emigrants Moelich, who all came from 1 CONC Bendorf on the Rhine, viz.: JOHANNES (A), who reached America in 1735, 1 CONC and settled on the "OLD FARM" in Somerset Co., N. J.; GOTTFRIED (B), a 1 CONC brother of JOHANNES (A) who came with him to America, and on reaching 1 CONC maturity settled in 1 CONT Sussex, now Warren, Co., N. J.; JOHAN PETER (C), another brother, who 1 CONC reached America in 1728, and whose son Tunis settled in Hunterdon Co., N. 1 CONC J.; DAVID (D), believed to have been a cousin of JOHANNES (A), who also 1 CONC settled in Hunterdon Co.; and PETER (E), a brother of the last, who 1 CONC settled in what is now Columbia Co., Pennsylvania. In addition will be 1 CONC given the record of all the descendants of JOHAN JACOB KLEIN (Jacob 1 CONC Kline), and SIMON LUDEWIG HIMROTH (Simon Himrod), two German emigrants 1 CONC who married, respectively, Veronica Gerdrutta and Marie Cathrine, the 1 CONC only daughters of JOHANNES (A). F. Story of an Old Farm. THE MOELICH 1 CONC FAMILY IN GERMANY. The first of the name is PETER, who appears in or 1 CONC about the year 1500 on the register of the Lutheran congregation at 1 CONC Winningen. This place is a market town of about three thousand 1 CONC inhabitants, on the left bank of the Moselle, five miles above Coblentz. 1 CONC It has a background of lofty and precipitous rocks, every available spot 1 CONC of which is planted with vines, producing the best flavored wine of the 1 CONC Lower Moselle. Winningen is one of the most ancient settlements in 1 CONC Germany, the unearthing of numerous coins, bits of arms, and remains of 1 CONC masonry, proving conclusively its Roman origin. In the year 888 the place 1 CONC was called Windiga, the present name havinging first been used about 1 CONC 1136. In 1288 Winningen came into the possession of the county Sponheim, 1 CONC which resulted, a few years later, in its forming, like Enkirch, 1 CONC Trarbach, and other places on the Moselle, a strong Protestant enclave in 1 CONC the midst of the Roman Catholic Electorate of Treves. Since 1814 it has 1 CONC been part of the kingdom of Prussia, and for sixty years before that date 1 CONC was attached to the Grand Dukedom of Baden, During the year 1557 the 1 CONC congregation--whose register has supplied the little information I have 1 CONC regarding the Moselle Moelichs,--went over in a body, under the 1 CONC leadership of Father George Muller, to the reformed religion and, to-day, 1 CONC there are only Lutherans in Winningen. The church, which is a very plain 1 CONC but noble-looking Romanesque structure, was built soon after the year 1 CONC 1200. During the seventeenth century the side naves were raised, in order 1 CONC to introduce galleries, which of course much mars its original 1 CONC architectural outlines. Pastor Theveny, the present incumbent, exhibits 1 CONC with much pride a Roman baptismal font, and, if his visitors are willing 1 CONC to climb, he will also show the fine large bells hanging in the tower. On 1 CONC one of them is inscribed "in godes namen lueden ich, matheus heis ich, 1 CONC henrich vom proim gois mich anno x vc unde seven." (In the name of God I 1 CONC do ring; my name is Mathens, and was formed by Henry of Proim in the 1 CONC 1507). 1 CONT I. PETER MOELICH of Winningen had a son, II. THEISS (Matthias), b. 1530, 1 CONC d. 1507. Theiss had a son, III. MICHEL, who m. in 1598 Margaretta Knaus. 1 CONC They had a son, IV. In the year 1688, JONAS (V.), leaving 1 CONC his eldest son GEORG THILMANN and his daughter JUSTINIA MARIA in 1 CONC Winningen, removed with his two remaining children to Bendorf. This town, 1 CONC of 4500 people is located on the right bank of the Rhine, four miles 1 CONC below Coblentz. Like Winningen it was founded by Roman settlers early in 1 CONC the Christian era, they establishing a fortress there, which was 1 CONC destroyed by Huns, A. D. 375. The next known settlement at this point was 1 CONC in the eighth century when the nucleus of a population was formed by the 1 CONC establishing of a mission station in the vicinity by an English 1 CONC missionary named Wilibrord. The baptismal font of brown stone now in the 1 CONC possession of the Evangelical Head-Church of that place is said to have 1 CONC been the one used by this missionary in baptizing the converted Rhine 1 CONC heathens. About the tenth century, as recited in the old documents of the 1 CONC county Wied, the Frankish kings set up here three courts. This attracted 1 CONC many settlers and the place soon after assumed the name of BETHIN, or 1 CONC BEDE, meaning cheap, said to refer to the low price at which land could 1 CONC then be acquired. Since then the name has gradually changed from 1 CONC BETHENDORF and BEDENDORF to BENDORF. (See pp. 22 -24.) JONAS (V) 1 CONC established at Bendorf a tannery, and became a prominent citizen and an 1 CONC assessor of the court. His wife having died on the eleventh of May 1693, 1 CONC he married as a second wife Gertraut Lucas. In Bendorf by his first wife 1 CONC he had born to him 2 ch., X. JOHAN MICHAEL, b. 13 Feb., 1689, who 1 CONC remained in the place of his nativity and had there ch. and grand-ch.; 1 CONC XI. MARIA CHRISTINA, b. 25 Sep., 1691. His second wife bore him three 1 CONC ch., viz:--XII. JOHANNES, b. 14 Feb., 1695, who remained in Bendorf and 1 CONC had there eleven ch.; XIII. MARIA CATHRINE, b. 21 July, 1699, d. in 1 CONC infancy, and XIV. ANNA CATHRINE, b. 17 Apl,, 1704, d. in infancy. The 1 CONC second wife of JONAS (V) having d. in 1718, he m. for the third time, 24 1 CONC Sep., 1719, the widow, Elisabetta Pistoris. JONAS (V) d. at Bendorf in 1 CONC 1722, his last wife surviving him for 20 years, dying at the age of 1 CONC eighty in 1742, HANS PETER (VIII) the second son of JONAS (V) had born 1 CONC to him in Bendorf eleven ch., viz:--XV. When JONAS (V), migrated 1 CONC from Winningen to Bendorf in 1688 he was accompanied by, XXVI. JOHAN 1 CONC WILHELM MOELICH, the father of XXVII. JOHANNES, who founded the "Old 1 CONC Farm," whose story is told in this volume. There is every reason to 1 CONC believe that if not the son he was at least a nephew of JONAS (V). Four 1 CONC of Johan Wilhelm's children were named after the children of JONAS (V), 1 CONC and, as will be shown, in the baptism of his nine ch. in almost every 1 CONC instance the godfathers and godmothers were the daughters of Jonas and 1 CONC one instance Jonas himself stood sponsor. Investigations are being 1 CONC continued which, it is hoped, will establish the relationship between 1 CONC these two, and thus provide a common German ancestor for all of the name 1 CONC in America. Johan Wilhelm's wife was Anna Cathrine, her parentage not 1 CONC being known. She had a sister living in Winningen, the wife of Johan 1 CONC David Krober, he standing godfather in 1712 for her son JOHAN DAVID 1 CONC (XVII). Another sister was the wife of a Mr. Hermann of Hochstenbach, who 1 CONC stood godfather in 1708 to her son JOHAN PETER (XIX). Anna Cathrine 1 CONC Moelich died in 1729 as is shown by the following record on the register 1 CONC of the Evangelical Head-Church at Bendorf, in the handwriting of Pastor 1 CONC Joh. Georg Schmidt:--"Certificate of Death; 1729, the 22d of July, Anna 1 CONC Cathrine M”lich, wife of Hanss Wilhelm M”lich, has been buried. God grant 1 CONC her the eternal life. Amen." (Hans., Joh., Johan., Johannes all stand for 1 CONC the same name, John.) Johan Wilhelm Moelich (XXVI) had 12 children. 1 CONC XXVII. JOHANNES (A), b. 26 Feb., 1702, emigrated to America in 1735, he 1 CONC being the founder of the "Old Farm." For his record and that of his 1 CONC posterity see p 631. XXVIII. JOHAN PETER (C), b. in 1708, emigrated to 1 CONC America in 1728, his children settling in Hunterdon Co., N. This Johan David d. in 1 CONC Bendorf 15 July, 1756. XXXI. ANNA GERTRAUT, b. Jan., 1714, bap. in the 1 CONC Bendorf church by the Rev'd Johannes Reusch, the certificate 1 CONC reading:--"The 21st January, 1714, to Joh. Wilhelm M”lich a young 1 CONC daughter has been baptized and named by the Christian name, Anna 1 CONC Gertraut. The godmother was Anna Gertraut, Johann Michael M”lich's wife; 1 CONC the godfather was Philipp Wilhelm Fassbender. God grant all blessings to 1 CONC the baptized. Amen." Godfather Fassbender was a brother of the Jacob 1 CONC Fassbender who in the year 1750 was a cotrustee with Johannes M”lich (A) 1 CONC in Zion Lutheran Church in New Germantown, N. J. He was also the uncle 1 CONC of Gottfried Klein (Godfrey Kline) the emigrant ancestor of a well known 1 CONC Hunterdon family. (See p. 91.) XXXII. MARIA CATHRINA CHRISTINA, b. Feb., 1 CONC 1716, bap. in the Bendorf church by the Rev'd Johannes Reusch, the 1 CONC certificate reading:-- "The 23d of February, 1716, to Joh. Wilhelm 1 CONC M”lich a young daughter has been baptized and named by the Christian 1 CONC name Maria Cathrina Christina. The witnesses of baptism were Mrs. Dr. 1 CONC Senheim, of Coblentz, but whose place in proxy took her daughter, Mrs. 1 CONC Councillor of the Court, Pohl. The other godmother was my beloved wife. 1 CONC The godfather was Jonas M”lich, citizen and assessor of the Court of 1 CONC this place. God grant all blessings to the baptized. Amen." "My beloved 1 CONC wife" was, of course, Mrs. Reusch. This was the last occasion of her 1 CONC husband's officiating at M”lich baptisms as he d. 22 Dec. of that year, 1 CONC having served the Bendorf Head-Church congregation since 3 Aug., 1697. 1 CONC His successor was Pastor Joh Georg Schmidt (See p. 70.) XXXIII. ANNA 1 CONC SIBYLLA, b. May, 1718, bap. in the Bendorf church by the Rev'd Joh Georg 1 CONC Schmidt, the certificate reading:--"The 26 of May, 1718, to Joh. Wilhelm 1 CONC M”lich a daughter has been baptized. Her witnesses of baptism have been 1 CONC Mr. Ehrenreich Kirberger, Sibylla Elisabeth, wife of Johan Wimmer, and 1 CONC Maria Cathrina, wife of Joh. Peter Fassbender, citizen of this place. To 1 CONC her has been given the name of Anna Sibylla. God grant her grace for 1 CONC Jesus sake. Amen." This child was evidently named after Anna Sibylla 1 CONC (XVIII) second dau. of Hans Peter Moelich (VIII). Godfather Kirberger 1 CONC was a cousin of the wife of Johannes Moelich (A). XXXIV. ELISABETH 1 CONC GERDRUTTA, b. Aug., 1720, bap. in the Bendorf church by Rev'd. Joh Georg 1 CONC Schmidt, the certificate reading:--"The 28th of August, 1720, to Hans 1 CONC Wilhelm M”lich a daughter has been baptized. Witnesses of baptism were 1 CONC Master Hans Peter Hoffbauer, citizen and resident of this place; 1 CONC further, Maria Elisabeth, Johann M”lich's wife; Veronica Gerdrutta, 1 CONC Georg Peter Otto's wife. To the child has been given the name Elisabeth 1 CONC Gerdrutta. God bless the child for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen." Godmother 1 CONC Maria Elizabeth M”lich was the wife of Johannes (XII), the son of Jonas 1 CONC (V). Mrs. Otto was a sister of the wife of Johannes (A). XXXV. JOHAN 1 CONC GOTTFRIED, (B) b. 14 July, 1724, emigrated to America in 1735, with his 1 CONC eldest brother Johannes (A) and settled in Sussex, now Warren, Co., N. 1 CONC J. For his record and that of his posterity see genealogy of Johan 1 CONC Gottfried (B). Johan Wilhelm and Anna Cathrine Moelich also had born to 1 CONC them three ch. between the years 1702 and 1708. who all d. soon after 1 CONC birth. There is no record of the death of Johan Wilhelm in Bendorf, and 1 CONC he evidently removed from there after the death of his wife in 1729, and 1 CONC Page 630 1 CONT is said to have emigrated. No record has been discovered of him in 1 CONC America; had he been there his youngest son Gottfried (B) would hardly 1 CONC have remained until his maturity as the ward of his eldest brother 1 CONC Johannes (A). (See p. 74). There is a tradition extant, the foundation 1 CONC of which has not been discovered, that he started for America with his 1 CONC sons Johannes and Gottfried, and d. on the way, either in Holland or 1 CONC during the voyage 1 CONT [Mellick.FTW] 1 CONT 1 CONT From The Story of an Old Farm by Andrew Mellick pg 628-29 1 CONT The Moelich Family in Germany 1 CONT The first of the name is Peter, who appears in or about the year 1500 on 1 CONC the register of the Lutheran congregation at Winningen. This place is a 1 CONC market town of about three thousand inhabitants, on the left bank of the 1 CONC Moselle, five miles above Coblentz. It has a background of lofty and 1 CONC precipitous rocks, every available spot of which is planted with vines, 1 CONC producing the best flavored wine of the Lower Moselle. Winningen is one 1 CONC of the most ancient settlements in Germany, the unearthing of numerous 1 CONC coins, bits of arms, and remains of masonry, proving conclusively its 1 CONC Roman origin. In the year 888 the place was called Windiga, the present 1 CONC name having first been used about 1136. In 1288 Winningen came into the 1 CONC possession of the county Sponheim, which resulted, a few years later, in 1 CONC its forming, like Enkirch, Trarbach, and other places on the Moselle, a 1 CONC strong Protestant enclave in the midst of the Roman Catholic Electorate 1 CONC of Treves. Since 1814 it has been part of the kingdom of Prussia, and for 1 CONC sixty years before that date was attached to the Grand Dukedom of Baden. 1 CONC During the year 1557 the congregation - whose register has supplied the 1 CONC little information I have regarding the Moselle Moelichs, - went over in 1 CONC a body, under the leadership of Father George Muller, to the reformed 1 CONC religion and , to-day, there are only Lutherans in Winningen. The church, 1 CONC which is a very plain but noble-looking Romanesque structure, was built 1 CONC soon after the year 1200. During the seventeenth century the side naves 1 CONC were raised, in order to introduce galleries, which of course much mars 1 CONC its original architectural outlines. Pastor Theveny, the present 1 CONC incumbent, exhibits with much pride a Roman baptismal font, and, if his 1 CONC visitors are willing to climb, he will also, show the fine large bells 1 CONC hanging in the tower. On one of them is inscribed "in godes namen lueden 1 CONC ich, matheus heis ich, henrich vom proim gois mich anno x vc unde seven." 1 CONC (In the name of God I do ring; my name is Mathens, and was formed by 1 CONC Henry of Proim in the 1507). 1 CONT 1 CONT e-mail rec'd 3/21/2000 from Merrill Reich > mreich@@rocsoft.com 1 CONT I have both versions of Andrew Mellick's book, an antique edition of the 1 CONC original printing and a more contemporary condensation. In the year 1668, when Georg was 10 years old 1 CONC and Justinia was 7, JONAS left his two oldest children in Winningen, and 1 CONC moved with his two youngest children to Bendorf, Rhineland-Pfalz, 1 CONC Germany. This town, of 4500 people is located on the right bank of Rhine, 1 CONC four miles below Coblentz. Like Winningen it was founded by Roman 1 CONC settlers early in the Christian era, they establishing a fortress there, 1 CONC which was destroyed by Huns, A. D. 875. The next known settlement at this 1 CONC point was in the eighth century when the nucleus of a population was 1 CONC formed by the establishing of a mission station in the vicinity by an 1 CONC English missionary named Wilibrord. Four of Johan Wilhelm’s children were named after the children of 1 CONC JONAS and as will be shown in the baptism of his nine children, in almost 1 CONC every instance, JONAS himself stood sponsor. 0 @I02870@ INDI 1 NAME Gertraut /Lucas/ 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 SEX F 1 DEAT 2 DATE 1718 1 DEAT 2 DATE 1718 2 PLAC Bendorf on the Rhine, Germany 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 REFN 2870 1 FAMS @F0103@ 0 @I02871@ INDI 1 NAME Johannes /Moelich/ 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 SEX M 1 BIRT 2 DATE 14 FEB 1694/95 1 BIRT 2 DATE 14 FEB 1694/95 2 PLAC Bendorf on the Rhine, Germany 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 DEAT 2 DATE UNKNOWN 2 PLAC Bendorf on the Rhine, Germany 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 EVEN 2 TYPE Note 2 PLAC He remained in Bendorf and had there, eleven children 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 REFN 2871 1 FAMC @F0103@ 0 @I02872@ INDI 1 NAME Maria Cathrine /Moelich/ 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 SEX F 1 BIRT 2 DATE 21 JUL 1699 1 BIRT 2 DATE 21 JUL 1699 2 PLAC Bendorf on the Rhine, Germany 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 DEAT 2 DATE ABT 1699 2 PLAC Bendorf on the Rhine, Germany 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 EVEN 2 TYPE Note 2 PLAC She died in infancy 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 REFN 2872 1 FAMC @F0103@ 0 @I02873@ INDI 1 NAME Anna Cathrine /Moelich/ 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 SEX F 1 BIRT 2 DATE 17 APR 1704 1 BIRT 2 DATE 17 APR 1704 2 PLAC Bendorf on the Rhine, Germany 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 DEAT 2 DATE ABT 1704 2 PLAC Bendorf on the Rhine, Germany 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 EVEN 2 TYPE Note 2 PLAC Died in infancy 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 REFN 2873 1 FAMC @F0103@ 0 @I02874@ INDI 1 NAME Elisabetta /Pistoris/ 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 SEX F 1 DEAT 2 DATE 1742 1 DEAT 2 DATE 1742 2 PLAC Bendorf on the Rhine, Germany 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 EVEN 2 TYPE Note 2 PLAC She was a widow when Jonas married her as his 4th wife 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 REFN 2874 1 FAMS @F0104@ 0 @I02879@ INDI 1 NAME Elizabeth /Melick/ 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 SEX F 1 BIRT 2 DATE 8 AUG 1786 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 DEAT 2 DATE 6 APR 1870 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 REFN 2879 1 FAMS @F0105@ 1 FAMC @F0027@ 0 @I02880@ INDI 1 NAME Joseph /Crawford/ 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 SEX M 1 BIRT 2 DATE 1778 1 BIRT 2 DATE 1778 2 PLAC Northumberland Co, PA 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 DEAT 2 DATE 27 SEP 1844 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 REFN 2880 1 FAMS @F0105@ 0 @I02881@ INDI 1 NAME Catharine /Crawford/ 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 SEX F 1 BIRT 2 DATE 20 DEC 1804 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 DEAT 2 DATE UNKNOWN 1 REFN 2881 1 FAMC @F0105@ 0 @I02882@ INDI 1 NAME Edmond /Crawford/ 1 SEX M 1 BIRT 2 DATE 3 OCT 1806 1 DEAT 2 DATE UNKNOWN 1 REFN 2882 1 FAMC @F0105@ 0 @I02883@ INDI 1 NAME Andrew /Crawford/ 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 SEX M 1 BIRT 2 DATE 22 FEB 1809 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 DEAT 2 DATE UNKNOWN 1 REFN 2883 1 FAMC @F0105@ 0 @I02884@ INDI 1 NAME John /Crawford/ 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 SEX M 1 BIRT 2 DATE 11 FEB 1811 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 DEAT 2 DATE UNKNOWN 1 REFN 2884 1 FAMC @F0105@ 0 @I02885@ INDI 1 NAME Mary /Crawford/ 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 SEX F 1 BIRT 2 DATE 3 DEC 1813 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 DEAT 2 DATE UNKNOWN 1 REFN 2885 1 FAMC @F0105@ 0 @I02886@ INDI 1 NAME Hannah /Crawford/ 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 SEX F 1 BIRT 2 DATE 27 JUL 1815 2 SOUR @S004508@ 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Oct 1, 1998 1 DEAT 2 DATE UNKNOWN 1 REFN 2886 1 FAMC @F0105@ 0 @I02887@ INDI 1 NAME Joseph /Crawford/ 2 SOUR @S003792@ 3 PAGE 522 3 DATA 4 TEXT this volume lists Anna as still living in 1887.
